Advice and support during the mediation.

Settlement

Help structuring a binding settlement agreement.

Mediation is a confidential process in which a neutral third party helps people in dispute reach a settlement, usually faster and at lower cost than a trial. A barrister can act as the mediator, or advise and represent you in a mediation, helping you prepare your position and assess any offers.

A barrister will give you a realistic view of your case so you can negotiate from a position of knowledge, and help structure any agreement. Through Direct Access you can instruct a barrister directly, without going through a solicitor first.
